Capital landscape

About these numbers

Coverage figures describe the capital landscape. Confirm each provider’s mandate and current availability before approaching them.

Know who is active.
And why now.

Recent activity, mandate fit and source evidence in one place.

TCTLCOM Capital
  • Fund close 22 Apr 2024 · $154m
  • Source checked 09 Oct 2026
  • Focus Seed & Series A technology
  • Initial ticket $1m–$3m

Why this may fit

A published technology mandate and $1m–$3m initial ticket range help you assess stage and funding fit. Current intake still needs confirming.

What the dates tell you

The activity date records when something happened. The checked date records when its source was reviewed. Neither proves that the provider is accepting applications today. Read TLCOM’s fund announcement.

FAQs

Who is Pathways for?

Startups, established businesses, project sponsors and fund managers across Africa, plus the advisers who support them. Start with what you are financing: a seed round, working capital, equipment, trade, growth or infrastructure.

What types of capital can I find?

Venture capital and venture debt, business lending, asset and trade finance, project finance, grants and guarantees. A guarantee supports access to financing; it is not itself a cash investment. Relevance depends on your stage, geography and use of funds.

How do you show data recency?

Activity dates and source-check dates are separate. A recent investment or fund close can be a useful signal, but it does not prove that a provider is accepting applications or that you meet its criteria. Gaps and items needing review stay visible.

Can fund managers find LPs?

Yes. Fundraising from LPs has a distinct pathway based on the fund’s strategy, target size, geography and commitment range. Allocator mandates and recent commitments inform the research, followed by fund-specific preparation.

How does the fundraising agent help?

The agent helps research capital options, organise documentation, prepare pitch and diligence materials, and coordinate tasks and follow-ups. Drafts use your company information, with missing facts flagged. You review outreach and approve documents before sharing. The interactive tour demonstrates these workflows.

Can advisers work with several clients?

Separate client workspaces keep each company’s shortlists, documents and plans in context. Shortlists, documents and plans stay within the relevant client workspace, with sharing controlled by that client.

Does a relevant provider mean funding is guaranteed?

No. Providers make their own decisions after assessing eligibility, diligence, risk and terms. Pathways helps you research and prepare; it does not approve or guarantee funding.
